CAFA Notices - All cases settled on a class basis must be approved by the court. Under the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005, when the
settlement agreement is filed with a Federal Court, a notice must be sent to a designated public official in each state where there are members of
the class. The Ohio Attorney General posts on its
website the information about each notice it receives.
